Capital Campaign

2023 – 2024

The Capital Campaign is an intensive 12-18 month fundraising effort to secure gifts and pledges from private sources to raise the needed $3,256,000.

Prior to the launch of the campaign, The Liberty Alliance raised $346,980 to secure the building, fix the roof, complete some preliminary engineering and architectural work, and prepare for the launch of the campaign. Thanks to all who have gotten us to this point!

Now is the time to restore The Liberty

With a multi-purpose arts and entertainment focus, this project will join with new capital and energy that is already revitalizing downtown Lewiston.
This historic art deco venue will offer movies, concerts, streaming sports and music events, small theater performances, dance performances, private event space, and speakers.
Sandpoint, Moscow, Walla Walla, Grangeville, Pomeroy, Dayton, Astoria, Seaside, Bend, Missoula, The Dalles, and Spokane are proof that for every $1 spent at a historic theater, $2.00 – $3.00 are spent at nearby businesses.
Local business owners and partners have expressed excitement about the restoration of the Liberty. They see The Liberty as the next downtown magnet to draw people from and to the region.
Focus groups include all ages with diverse interests. They want a multi-use arts and entertainment facility, with exciting options for everyone.
This project joins with new capital and energy that is already revitalizing downtown Lewiston.
